In 2026 I am pleased to introduce you to Anne Williamson, a student at Northwestern University. Anne will be working with me during her student practicum. If you, or someone you know, would like to meet with Anne or learn about her services, please read her bio below and contact me for more information about scheduling!
Meet Anne
I am Anne Williamson, a Mental Health Counseling graduate student at Northwestern University. I am currently under the supervision of Stephanie Bewley at SKB Counseling and Scott Sweet at CenterPoint Counseling. I also have a master’s degree in divinity (aka, I went to seminary). In this work, I used to say, “You are your own best theologian.” I now say, “You are your own best therapist.” By this I mean that the wisdom you need to heal exists within you. Learning to hear and strengthen this part of yourself will be part of our work. I am here to listen and guide, but it will be your voice we’ll be listening for together.
My placements at SKB and CenterPoint mean I currently work with adults and groups in-person and online in Indiana. I work with them to define and realize their goals using appropriate diagnosis, assessments, and a variety of evidenced-based interventions. What we struggle with can sometimes be eliminated or lessened, and sometimes we must learn to integrate these struggles into who we are to live freely. When I graduate and become licensed, I hope to work in a private practice working with adults at the intersection of spirituality and psychological well-being, as well as cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches, namely Internal Family Systems and ACT.
To schedule with Anne, please send a message through the contact link on this page.
